Seven Week Summer Session

  Our seven week summer classes start Monday, June 23, 2014.  Please check out our schedule under classes.  It is never too late to register, so call us at 281-955-6867 for more information.
Rehearsal times for 2014 Recital "Heroes & Villians"
  The Sunday, June 15th 3:00 Show will rehearse at The Berry Center on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 9:00am.  Please plan to be at theater 10 to 15 minutes early.  We will run the show in the correct order with the exception of the finale, which we will practice first, so that after your children have run their dances, you are free to leave.  Please no costumes, just regular dance attire and shoes.  It would be fun for everyone to wear there recital tees to rehearsal :).

The Sunday, June 15th 7:00 Show will rehearse at the Berry Center on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 12:30pm.  Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.  We will run show in order, except for the finale, which we will run first.  After your children have run their dances, you are free to leave.  Please no costumes, only regular dance attire and shoes.  Recital tees would be great too.

The Shows will be on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at The Berry Center.

3:00 Show participants must be at the theater to dress in their costumes no later than 2:30pm.  Hair and make-up should be done at home.  Please refer to your recital booklet for more detailed information.  The House will open for seating for guests and family at 2:30pm.  No tickets are needed.  If your child finishes their dances and would like to join you in the audience, please bring street clothes to dress in and leave costumes in the dressing room.  No costumes will be allowed in the audience, either on the child or on hangers, at any time!

7:00 Show participants must be at theater to dress in their costumes no later than 6:30pm  Hair and make-up done at home.  House will open for seating at 6:30pm.  Information above applies to this show as well.

Company members must be at theater at 2:15 for 3:00 Show and 6:15 for 7:00 Show!

  PLEASE DO NOT PLAN ON 290 TO BARKER CYPRESS!!!!  FREEWAY WILL BE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND!!!  EVEN WHEN NOT CLOSED, THE TRAFFIC IS TERRIBLE!  ALTERNATE ROUTE WOULD BE, 290, EXIT TELGE, LEFT ON TELGE, WHICH DEADENDS INTO WEST.  RIGHT ON WEST.  THE BERRY CENTER IS AT INTERSECTION OF WEST AND BARKER CYPRESS.

Fall Registration Dates

Fall registration for Living Lines Dance Center will be held August 16-18 and August 23-25 from 3 to 8pm.  Classes begin the week of August 27th.  Registration fee and first months tuition is due upon registration.

If you wish to take advantage of the discount on registration fees, you must register on or before July 19, 2012.

Recital Rehearsal and Show at The Berry Center

Rehearsal on the stage at the Berry Center will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm on Saturday, May 19th.  Please plan on arriving at 8:45am.  Come into the theater and find a seat to wait your turn on stage.  Please no costumes at rehearsal, only regular dance attire and your dance shoes.  We will run the show in the order of the performance, so please bring your recital line-up your received last week or the week before.  After your child has finished with their dances, they are free to leave, unless they wish to participate in the finale, which will be practiced at the end of run through.

The Recital will start at 5:00pm on Sunday, May 20th.  All students need to be at the theater no later than 4:30pm.  Hair and make-up should be done at home.  Go directly to the dressing area with your costumes.    (Absolutely NO COSTUMES ARE ALLOWED IN THE AUDIENCE AT ANY TIME, ON A CHILD OR ON A HANGER!!)
Find your designated area and either get changed for your first dance, or if you are not performing until the 2nd half, leave your costumes in dressing area and find a seat for the show.  All parents are responsible for dressing their child.  Your child must be ready to dance 3 numbers before they go on.  A runner will come to the dresssing area to pick up your child's class to bring them backstage.  If your child is not with their class and ready to go, they will miss their time on stage.  We will not hold the show to find a missing student.   At this time parents my return to the theater to watch.  PLEASE, I cannot stresss this enough, do not enter or exit the theater during a performance on stage.  No only does it block others view and get in the way of the video, it is just inconsiderate to others and the dancers on stage.

It is always good to pack a recital bag the night before the show with shoes, costumes, safety pins, make-up, needle and thread and anything you might need in case of emergencies.  Please not food in dressing area or theater, only water bottles.  Make sure your child's names are in all of their costumes and shoes.

We will be holding classes the week after recital for end of year dance games and parties.

RECITAL PICTURE DAY IS MAY 5, 2012

We will be taking our recital class portraits on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the studio.  Each class has a assigned time to arrive for their pictures.  Students will recieve a note in class the week of pictures.  Below is a schedule of times if you do not get home with yours:

Recital rehearsal will be at The Berry Center Theater on Saturday, May 19, 2012, starting at 9 am and running until about 12:30.  All students should plan on arriving at 8:45 to get name tag and sit in audience until your number is called backstage to run your dance on the stage.  THIS IS NOT A DRESS REHEARSAL, but be sure to bring you dance shoes to practice on stage.  Regular dance attire is to be worn.  It would be great if you wore your recital tee shirt :).  Little ones are free to leave after their number practices.  Finale (giant final bow), will be practiced at the end of rehearsal, so if you would like to participate in finale, you should stay.  Those participating in finale will remain on stage for awards ceremony and introductions.
Recital will start promptly at 5:00pm on Sunday, May 20, 2012.  Students should be back at the theater no later than 4:30 or 4:45, depending on when their first number is.  Please take all costumes directly to the dressing area.  NO COSTUMES ARE ALLOWED IN THE AUDIENCE AT ANY TIME!  Students should dress at the Theater but do makeup and hair at home.  All students must have a parent or guardian responsible for dressing them and stay with them in dressing area until they are lined up to go on, at which time you may find your seat.  Please sit near the back if you are going to be leaving and entering several times to dress children as to not disrupt the show for others.  We are very lucky to have a fantastic company videoing the show this year.  They will be set up in the lobby or you may order at studio before the show.  NO VIDEOTAPING IS ALLOW DURING THE PERFORMANCE for the safety of the dancers and the convenience  of audience members trying to enjoy the show.  If you are leaving to dress your child, PLEASE wait until a number finishes on stage before getting up out of you seats as to not block the view of audience members.  Also, returning only in between numbers.  If you have any questions at all, I will be more than happy to answer them, just let me know.  I know this is intimidating to families who have never done this before.  But, don't worry, we will make it though and have a fantastic time doing it!!!  Break-a-Leg,  Ms Janet :)
